I'll be taking a long trip in my car and wanted to have my car checked. I just had the oil changed by the Service Department at the dealership I bought the car from and get a vehicle inspection with each oil change. I told them about my trip and asked that they do a more thorough check. I got my car back with no mention of a problem. I wanted to be sure so I took my car to John's Automotive for an additional look and I'm so glad I did! John's team found a crack and leak in my coolant reservoir that would have likely led to me being on the side of the road with an overheated car on my trip. Which would have been horrible. Thank you so much for saving me the grief and stress that I would have probably had on my trip. I really appreciate it and am so thankful to your whole team there at John's Automotive!

After failing smog at Mira Mesa Automotive twice they recommended John’s. Dawn cancelled the March 24th appt saying the dyno machine was out of commission and would be at least 2 weeks. It was much longer. Brian set appt for May 9th. Picked up May 17th. Happy with the service.

One of the smoothest mechanic experiences I can remember. A friend recommended them so I went in for an oil change/60K mile inspection and they were great. My guy Andrew kept me posted throughout the entire process. They inspected the whole car, replaced the cabin filter, and also noticed a nail in my tire which they were able to patch. All of this for a very fair price. If you’re in need of a mechanic, go to John’s!

I've been coming to John 's for many years. When I bought a used car for my granddaughter, I brought it to John's to be sure it was safe. The team here is always friendly and honest. I like that they will shuttle you home if your service is going to take a while. My repairs have always been spot on and no one tries to up sell you . Really nice all around.

Wonderful! Great customer service. Not pushy. Tried to give me a discount at the end which was unexpected and just so sweet. And their car inspections are SUPER thorough. Defo going back.

Yesterday I went to John’s Automotive without an appointment to get my car smogged. I was greeted warmly and quickly. I was told that there was a car before me getting the same service and it would take about one and a half hours. I walked around the streets for a while and then sat in a chair outside their office. At 1 1/2 hours later my car was finished. It passed and I am happy. A technician completed the paperwork, I paid and left as a very happy customer. In the past before I knew about John’s my experience was not good for many reasons. From now on I will take cars to John’s for this service. Thank you, Gentlemen!
