Drove to San Diego to head to Catalina Island for my wife and I’s anniversary. Car popped a check engine light 40 miles outside of San Diego and quickly looked for a mechanic nearby and found Johns. They took care of us and kept us in the loop with everything while we were enjoying our vacation. If we lived in San Diego this would be the place we brought our vehicles for everything. They showed us the price of the part and told us what they changed per hour. Great experience for an unexpected and crappy situation.

Quicker than I feared.

Everyone at this shop is an amazingly kind person. I came down for a family emergency, and managed to rupture my fuel tank after hitting something. They were unbelievably kind and easy going, and really helped by not adding to all the stress I was going through. Unfortunately, I didn’t end up getting the tank replaced, as I’m not from the area and figured it would be too inconvenient to wait to have it fixed.
