The people at the front desk seemed nice. I went in for gasket repair, which was confirmed and quoted around $4300 for that… I was then recommended to come pick the car up as is, as the gentleman Dave at the front desk suggested that’s what he’d do. In other words, the shop did not seem to want to do the repair. Another disappointing experience was leaving with a completely stripped battery terminal in which Dave suggested came in that way, and recommended a completely new battery (luckily the battery has dual terminal posts and I knew I could easily repair it myself and ended up doing so…). The terminal was so stripped that the cable was hanging loosely from the battery. Dave suggested it wasn’t a big deal as the ground cable was only necessary for the stereo… In all, I came to this repair shop because of their great reviews online, but I unfortunately did not have a good experience with them. About $79 bucks for them to inspect and confirm what I suggested was the issue, tell me they weren’t going to work on the car unless I paid for basically a new motor’s worth of repair cost ($4300), and a negative battery cable loosely hanging from the battery terminal. Good luck to those hoping to get more than an oil change done.
