Took my CLK500 conv. to John's for A-service, and they did a fabulous job. Also made me feel like a long time customer, and it was my 1st time using them. Will definitely be a long time customer now!!

I had a perfect customer service experience here. I brought my car in to be smog certified after it had failed a smog test at another station where I was told it wasn't "ready" to be smogged. They told me to put some miles on it and bring it back for a second try. I called John's and talked with a mechanic who explained WHY it wasn't ready--when I changed the battery, the on-board computer needed to reset before it could start monitoring the systems. When I brought it in, the mechanic told me he could check to see if it was ready BEFORE it was tested, to save me the cost of the test in case it wasn't ready. I didn't know they were willing to do that or that they even COULD do that. It was ready; they tested it; and I was out of there in 10 minutes with my certification done and registered.
