My Chevy had been stalling and I was so uncomfortable to drive it so I simply wanted an opinion and guidance in the next step to take. So I brought it to Justin Snyder with John's Automotive Care in Mission Valley (a little out of my way because I don't trust many car people), and I am absolutely satisfied with his help and the team there. Mechanics were able to point out a few things my last mechanic goobered up, discover what was still under warranty, as well as suggest any maintenance precautions. He was knowledgeable, honest and in support of my safety, not my wallet like most. I appreciate it a ton and would bring my car back without any hesitation. I was trying to buy a used car in the area, and called around to find a mechanic who could check it. John's had no space at the time, but one of the mechanics, Brian, took 30 mins to give the car a walk-around for free. He spotted some alarming stuff and saved me from buying a potential lemon! I have gone to John's a couple times in the past to get my previous vechicle worked on, so when my current car broke down I didn't hesitate to call them. The gentleman I had spoke with had asked me details about my car and it's issues, and let me know it sounded like a transmission problem. He let me know that my type of vehicle was having a bunch of extended warranties and advised calling the dealership to inquire. And what you know, it was the transmission and it was in fact under warranty!! So informative, and I could not be more appreciative of your integrity. :) Justin and the team are so helpful and very informative!
