These guys have always taken such good care of my two cars! Justin and Mike at the front are absolutely top notch! They never make me feel uncomfortable since I don't know too much about cars and make sure I know what to do next. Not only have they done an amazing job up front, but whenever my cars need maintenance the guys working on the cars are super nice and keep my car clean when working on them! Also I love getting rides with Jeff to and from my apartment- which is super close to the shop, but he sings and is always in a great mood even when I know he has been taking people out all day. They even recommended me to a great detailer for some deep scratches I had on my car. All in all I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Great guys and I wish I could take them all with me across the country. I just hope the auto shop where we are moving to is HALF as great as Johns Automotive!

I took my car to John's Automotive for a second opinion, and I'm SO glad I did! They not only correctly diagnosed the problem, but saved us literally thousands of dollars in the process. They persisted until they got it right, and the customer service could not have been better! Justin did a fantastic job making sure we were informed and well taken care of by going the extra mile in so many ways during the repair process. His honesty and integrity were exemplary. It's the only place we will take our car!

Excellent customer service, I have to say Michael and Bill were the nicest auto techs I've ever met. I only went for a free AAA inspection, but left with a detailed report, they took me back to the garage to see the areas of concern and they even topped off my engine oil. Gotta give kudos to this business, I will definitely be back.

I have a 2006 Jeep Commander (4X4 5.7L Hemi) that had more then a few issues wrong with it. John's was very helpful in locating those issues and getting the work done expeditiously as well as doing an exceptional job. Mike was of great assistance and was always available to answer my questions and made me feel confidant about the work being done. As someone who's frequented other garages around SD and not been able to find that warm fuzzy feeling, let me tell you it's defiantly worth it's wait in gold! I know a little about cars, but even if I didn't, I would still love coming to John's. They're so patient in their explanations of problems, helping me to work within my budget to get the most vital repairs done quickly. I live within a five Mile radius, and they'll both drop me at home after turning in my vehicle AND pick me up to collect it once repairs are through. Their customer service is great, and it's nice to see howich they contribute to the local community.

John's automotive was able to diagnose my issue with my 1994 Jeep Wrangler which was failing smog via high NOx at 25mph (1100ppm), 500ppm above max allowed, though it was easily passing the 15mph test for NOx emissions. They were able to replace the faulty O2 sensor quickly and my Jeep easily passed smog with NOx values below 15pm. Clearly amazing smog results
