Highly recommend this shop. They do a thruel job in inspecting the vehicle. They also provide photos with their inspections and they work quickly and efficiently. I was impressed by their work. Hard to come across good mechanics nowadays. Highly recommended.

John’s is always friendly and honest about what my vehicles needed and even tried to help me hunt down a couple gremlins in my truck. In the five years I was in San Diego, they helped me maintain four of our cars and trucks. They were always done in a timely manner, too. Hoping to find a similar shop near our new home in TX.

I was referred to John’s automotive San Diego by a friend to get my Lexus headlight fixed. Arron was so friendly and responsive and got me in right away. They fixed my light quickly, even after the dealer made a mistake regarding the part needed. They were honest and didn’t try and overcharge me. I can’t say enough good things about my experience there and will definitely be taking my car back there for any further needed work. Arron really is the nicest guy ever thanks!

This place is an honest repair shop! They got me an appointment quickly and were friendly and professional from start to finish! Many auto repair shops are condescending to females and overcharge or try to get us to do things that aren't really necessary, but not this shop. They could have done and charged me for an additional service that I asked about, but instead, they explained how it might actually cause other problems in my vehicle and therefore was not necessary or recommended. I highly recommend John's Automotive Care!!
