No leaks no problem so far. Thank you for being so thorough by explaining what's going on with the car and what needs to be done. especially you guys have found that the previous mechanic that had our car didn't do very good job.

First of all there are not enough stars to rate this place. I brought my 96 Ford Ranger that has 125K on it. I am the original owner and have always taken good care of my truck. I recently failed a smog test due to OBD monitor not calibrating 3 systems. These guys were determined to fix my truck and even called an offsite Guru to help in diagnosing the issue. After 3 weeks they were able to get the stubborn OBD monitor to reset. They never gave up and the price was very fair. They are now my go to auto shop. Its very hard to find a good mechanic and fair reasonable rates now a days. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Ty Neil for your professional and to all of your team that spent the time on my truck.

I had been referred to John’s by a good friend who had some work done there, and was quite pleased. Neil helped me out through the entire process and kept me informed of the progress, the cost as we went along, and even offered me some first time customer perks. All in all, my car runs perfectly again, and the entire process was quite painless! I will return to John’s again in the future

I had such a great experience with John’s Automotive. Neil was patient, honest, and explained different options for repairing my vehicle. Customer service here is wonderful, and I’ll be coming back in future.

I cannot say enough nice things about JAC, especially as a woman who knows only how the check my oil level... I trust them because they earned it. You will not be overcharged, or treated like an idiot... be honest with them about your vehicle troubles, even if you did something "dumb" and they will handle it for you at reasonable rates, in a timely manner, and without making you feel stupid. I've been taking my vehicles to JAC since they were just in La Mesa and called Harloff. One example of why I continue going to JAC... had my catalytic converter stolen off a truck years ago, and the replacement one was installed by my dad, but since the replacement one wasn't a "Toyota" cat (so expensive), the connection wasn't quite right and the truck wasn't passing smog. JAC addressed the connection issue for less than $100 (and saved dad's old knees)! Even my dad, who does know everything about cars, approves for their work.
