As soon as my parts showed up, John's Automotive Care staff were quick to get the parts in, working and tested to make sure everything ran properly. The job was done fast and efficiently. They were upfront and honest with prices and didn't try to push any extra maintenance on me. The staff were very friendly, courteous and professional. I am a completely satisfied customer. I definitely will return in the future for any truck issues that may occur.

I had such an amazing experience here. I hate going in to get my oil changed because normally that means dealing with a couple guys telling me all these major things that are wrong with my car and why I need to get them fixed right then and it will only cost me an arm and a leg. It was completely opposite here! I spoke with Dawn at the front desk who set the relaxed friendly tone that kept up throughout the entire time. They have a great safety-first precautionary measures in place and they did a free diagnostics test to inform me of my car's ailments and overall health but did not make me feel pressured whatsoever. Picking up with Dawn was so easy and fast and talking to Justin, who was the nicest guy ever, was extremely informational and helpful. I left feeling like I have finally found a really awesome spot I can trust to take great care of me and my vehicle. I also had a few smaller expensive items in the car that I forgot about and thought for sure would be gone but everything was still right where i left it when I picked my car up at the end of the day. I'm so happy John's Automotive is open for business during this trying time as they always do great work giving me one less worry. The lobby isn't as much fun right now but you feel very safe when doing business and the same friendly employees make it pleasant and easy. James took care of my vehicle from start to finish. It was my first time at Johns, and I chose this location because of all of the positive reviews and because of the close proximity to my work. Made an appointment online and brought my car in for just a basic oil change and tune-up. The mechanics found an issue that needed to be taken care of, the prompt notification was wonderful. Since having a problem with my long time auto shop, I decided to try John's Automotive and have been pleasantly surprised. They have serviced my 2001 Pontiac Montana and a 1985 Volvo with exceptional, professional results. In addition, I started taking my 1972 Firebird to John's Automotive in La Mesa on the recommendation of my local John's Automotive. They know their vintage cars exceptionally well. I have had nothing but problems with my Firebird since doing a major overhaul 3 years ago with my previous shop, to the point where I was hesitant to drive it.
