I brought my 2004 Acura TSX in for an alignment as the vehicle was beginning to pull to the left. The mechanic started work at the scheduled appointment time, and was finished in about an hour and 15 minutes. On the way home, as soon as I began to drive on the freeway, I noticed a pull to right more pronounced than the one to the left I originally went in with. I turned around and went back. They got right on the problem, rechecking, then tweaking the adjustments, only to find it still pulled to the right. After some additional investigations of the suspension system, all that could be found was that the two front tires, both relatively new and purchased at the same time, had worn differently by a significant amount. It was suggested we switch the two tires ( they are not unidirectional) to see if there would be a change. There was, with the car now pulling to the left again, but about the same or a little less than originally. So, John’s Auto spent an additional amount of time (about an hour and three quarters) seeking to solve the problem, which they did. In essence my answer, if I can’t abide the minor pull, is to get a new set of tires. The entire staff of John’s Auto is very courteous, and their excellent COVID 19 protocols, still fully in place, are top notch. And they could not have been more forthcoming in addressing the problem.
